Reclaiming Power – How Inclusive Governance is the Only Way Forward.

Written by Fiona Blenman

It’s important to tackle some of the matters that we’re witnessing across the globe right now! Society has progressed beyond the tumultuous times we’ve faced just this past century. We have navigated through cycles of war, peace, and innovation. However, we still notice the same outdated patterns repeating themselves, such as discrimination, inequality, and environmental degradation. These issues resonate deeply within communities. They remind us that we have made significant strides. However, there remains a pressing need for collective awareness and action. We can break these cycles by engaging in meaningful dialogue. Additionally, fostering compassion helps create a more fair and sustainable future for all.

As grown adults, the majority of us should know better between the differences of what is right or wrong. Right is often defined by actions and behaviors that align with societal standards. These actions promote fairness, honesty, and respect. In contrast, wrong typically encompasses acts that violate these principles. Such acts lead to harm or injustice. Core human values shape our treatment and understanding of each other. They include empathy, which encourages us to understand others’ feelings. Integrity prompts us to act according to our moral beliefs. Compassion fosters kindness and support. Justice ensures that everyone is treated fairly and equitably. By embracing these values, we create a more harmonious society that acknowledges the complexity of human interactions.

My earlier posts discuss the ways in which conscious energy shapes the world we live in. They also explain how we engage with it through our individual experiences. This reality highlights that every individual exists on a dynamic spectrum. This spectrum is the foundation for the vibrancy and diversity of human appearances. It influences creative talents and personal identities. It also impacts family structures, cultural practices, and spiritual beliefs. Our unique expressions throughout our lives are shaped by this spectrum.

Society’s problems arise when powerful figures in politics and religion introduce new policies and practices. These changes interfere with the education, growth, and evolutionary rights of an individual or group. These disruptions can stifle creativity. They can also suppress critical thought. Individuals are often taught to conform to rigid ideologies. This conformity prevents them from embracing diversity and innovation. When educational systems rank political or religious agendas over holistic learning, the potential for societal advancement diminishes significantly. This situation not only hinders personal development. It can also create a cycle of ignorance and fear. This cycle permeates communities. It makes it increasingly difficult for new ideas to emerge and flourish. Furthermore, as marginalized voices are silenced, the fabric of society becomes weakened, leading to increased conflict and division, rather than unity and progress.

Governments should not be inhibiting societal progress through force and resistance! This approach creates division and chaos among the masses of the people they govern. It leads to a breakdown in trust between the authorities and the citizens. When a government resorts to coercive measures, it stifles innovation and growth. By choosing control over open dialogue and understanding, they ultimately hinder the very advancements that society seeks. Instead of building a cohesive community that strives for collective enrichment, such actions breed resentment. They fuel unrest. Leaders must adopt a more inclusive and empathetic approach. This approach should focus on the well-being of all individuals.

Those in power should not impose their personal biases and political agendas, as doing so creates divisions and fosters an environment of distrust and animosity among the populace. Targeting a select group of individuals based on the judgment and cruelty of political intentions undermines the principles of equality and justice that are foundational to a fair society. It is crucial to recognize that such behavior is a principle that’s far removed from the core values that our collective society stands for, values that emphasize compassion, understanding, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their background. Money, wealth, and greed should not be the driving force that influences governments to act with so much violence and hatred towards a certain group; instead, leaders should prioritize the well-being of all citizens, advocating for policies that unite rather than divide, and ensure that every person is treated with dignity and human rights are upheld universally.

A well-informed and educated group of citizens can see through the veil that certain governments use to hide the truth from the people they’re supposed to serve. Their ability to critically analyze information allows them to question narratives presented by those in power, fostering a more engaged and active populace. Such citizens not only seek out diverse sources of information but also engage in discussions that highlight discrepancies in governmental statements, ultimately holding leaders accountable. In this way, they contribute to the foundation of a healthy democracy, where transparency and honesty are paramount, and the voices of the people resonate more powerfully against misinformation and deceit.

This raises the question; how can we counteract the abuse of power that resonates among certain political groups? We can see that money influences corruption. The need to control the world’s economies forms the foundation for discriminatory practices. It seems that we’ve built our civilizations around money, possessions and greed. Isn’t it time that we adjust our focus towards a different societal standard that unites all human beings as equals?!

Possessing power doesn’t need to be a power struggle, where only one group or person benefits. Power is a source of energy that we all share! It’s not only found in the abundance of material possessions. A greater source of power comes from an individual’s journey to master oneself. It’s through self-mastery that we develop an understanding of our connection to everyone and everything in the universe.

Power must return to the people, and it mustn’t be allowed to end up in the wrong hands, as history has shown us the devastating consequences of such an imbalance. It is vital for individuals to reclaim their voice and agency, ensuring that decisions affecting their lives are made with their input and consent. The laws of universal conscious energy must be retaught and relearned around the globe, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all beings and the importance of nurturing our planet. By fostering a deeper understanding of these principles, we can create a society that respects both individual rights and the collective good, working harmoniously toward a sustainable future where everyone can thrive and contribute to the greater whole.

To see improvements in our lives, we must adopt a new strategy that fosters cooperation and collaboration among individuals and communities, aiming to build a society on the pillars of unity and justice for all. This proactive approach not only encourages us to share our resources and knowledge but also cultivates a sense of belonging and mutual respect. As we work together towards common goals, we can create an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued, ultimately leading to innovative solutions that address the challenges we face. By embracing diversity and promoting equitable opportunities, we can lay down the foundation for a brighter future for everyone, where harmony prevails and the welfare of each member of society is prioritized.

Maybe we can work towards a common global identity to represent everyone?! This will be the focus for my next post. Be sure to like and subscribe to my blog if you wish to stay connected. Thank you for reading!
