What if Perception is Reality? A Look at Consciousness.

How does consciousness work?

Earlier in my blog, I provided a definition of what consciousness is. I defined it as being one half of the universal equation, which interacts with the other half, made up of energy. Essentially, consciousness is a negative force (-) resulting from the negative charge of electrons, and energy is a positive force (+) presented by the positive charge of protons that are harnessed inside of an atom’s nucleus. Therefore, our universe operates under a framework of duality, which form the Yin and Yang dynamics of nature!

Taking from my recent posts regarding my concept of the interactions that occur between the forces of consciousness (-) and energy (+), I think it’s important that I break down this phenomenon further to explain how our subjective consciousness behaves and how we utilize it to influence/change our environments.

I believe that consciousness can indeed be measured at a fundamental level when we consider the importance of atoms, which are easy to forget how these small blocks of mass and density operate beneath the surface of our being!

The general rule to remember is, on the scale of any body of matter, consciousness appears externally (outside the body), and energy is stored internally (inside the body). This scale repeats across all time and space, starting from atoms to organisms, all the way to solar systems and galaxies. Generally, energy is held in the center nucleus, and the body that surrounds the nucleus is made up of consciousness.

For any form of matter to exist, consciousness and energy are always present, interacting together simultaneously. The air and space between objects mostly carries particles of negative ions, which makes air and gases less dense than solid objects, which have more mass and density that hold more positive ions. Everything that we perceive travels via different wavelengths and frequencies through the particles of matter that our consciousness can interact with.

The concept of ‘self’ through sensory perception:

Now, we can envision our bodies behaving the same way as the smallest atoms, just on a much larger and complex scale. We are walking beams of energy, extending our consciousness into our surroundings (due to the body’s electrons) where we grow our awareness from the interactions we have with our environment, then the results from our experiences uploads to our memory.

An individual’s self-awareness begins with their body’s senses. All living things require a framework that protects them from harm, or danger, to ensure their survival. This is why, in the case of living organisms, like ourselves, consciousness perceives through what we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

We perceive any object/event in our surroundings due to several factors:

A) An object (either living or non-living), will have its own separate atomic structure that vibrates at a certain frequency that our consciousness can interact with. Sight/vision is a complex sensory process that we use to perceive our surroundings. Our eyes receive light as it hits the retina at the back of the eye, which cells called photoreceptors send electrical impulses, carrying the received image, to the brain. Light travels through the space between the object and our point of observation, in various wavelengths, which creates the colours of the rainbow, expressing them in various shapes and density.

B) The ear’s ability to receive and process soundwaves as they’re carried through the airspace that surrounds us creates a spatial awareness and position, in relation to the cause of the sound. Soundwaves travel through a medium such as air, water or solids, which causes the particles to vibrate back and forth between the cause and the perceiver. The brain processes this information, according to stored memory that may relate to the sound, which will trigger a physical response depending on the receiver’s familiarity with the sound.

C) Being able to touch objects and feel their essence through our skin is an advantage of evolution, which allows us to manipulate our environment to suit our needs. The nerve cells that covers our body’s surface send signals to our brains about the texture and temperature of certain objects that we touch, which the brain will return a signal for cells to release energy stores in organs and muscles to respond appropriately. The brain holds memory of the way things feel, according to either instinct or learnt behavior.

D) Another sense that we use for perception, our noses can receive different smells/scents when molecules of different substances enters our nose, which specialized nerve cells called olfactory sensory neurons send signals to the olfactory bulb in the brain. The brain will signal to the body to respond to the smell following interpretation from memory and emotions that relates to that scent.

E) The fifth sense that we use to perceive and interpret the environment is taste. Often taste is the last sense to be utilized, once other factors in the environment have been interpreted to determine if an item is safe to ingest or consume. Based on the chemical molecules that come into contact with the mouth and tongue, taste buds receive the chemical information of which specific signals are sent to the brain to interpret the taste, whether its sweet, sour, salty, bitter or umami (savory). The experience of taste is not isolated as it often works alongside the senses of smell and touch sensations of texture and temperature.

An individual’s identity is shaped over time through their 5 senses, and from the brain’s interpretation of various people, places and objects based on ingrained memory and instinct.

Consciousness at work:

If we look at the overall energetic field of a human being, and compare it to other atomic structures, we can begin to understand a pattern that emerges from the chemical and electrical signals shared between our bodies and the environment.

Generally, our conscious energy desires the state of increased and harmonious energy! Therefore, a long and happy lifestyle is dependent on our ability to maintain a healthy balance of consciousness and energy. Every interaction we share with our environment, and other entities around the world, can influence your internal balance. Therefore, it’s important to limit your exposure to external factors that can leave you feeling low and depleted of conscious energy.

Any given event between objects (either living or non-living) results in a transaction of consciousness and energy. In the case of 2 people interacting with each other, either party will be left with an experience of an increase or decrease in conscious energy based on the type of interaction and how it makes them feel (I.e. a negative experience can make you feel sad/angry/tired, whereas a positive experience can improve your mood, leaving you feeling happy/excited/energetic).

A perceived interaction between 2 bodies of matter becomes a complex web of chemical bonds and electrical impulses between both consciousness and energy. When it comes to human interactions, sudden and short exchanges create weaker bonds between the individuals involved, and the brain is less likely to remember these events, especially if they’re not significant. Longer and more frequent interactions often create stronger bonds between individuals and neural pathways in our brains grow stronger in order to remember specific people and the experiences shared.

Among scientists, questions have been raised about the ways that consciousness can influence particles of matter at vast distances, and whether-or-not it’s actually a phenomenon that exists. My answer to this question would be; a level of force or intention should be held in the mind of the observer to influence the person/place/thing that they wish to alter in some way. The power of prayer and mental telepathy are fields of study that haven’t yet been properly explored. Knowing what I know about the formula and framework of consciousness and energy, I believe this topic can be answered by the same formula and framework. Prayer and telepathy are likely caused by consciousness seeking a familiar “bond” from memory. It’s our consciousness tuning in to certain frequencies that we recognize. The person sending the signal is likely to experience a stronger outcome than the receiver, because the intention creates a meditative and energetic state of being, making them feel happy/relaxed/excited. I will try to incorporate this study into my research towards my abstract article.

I strongly support the above presented concept that consciousness and energy are the fabric and substance that makes up the entire universe, and EVERYTHING that we perceive can be measured and recorded through its behavior and interactions in all types of matter. I’m about to release an abstract submission for my findings and present them to the scientific community for comment and evaluation.
